Hello there! Did you miss me or you moved on so fast the way Naya Rivera got married 3 months after breaking up with Big Sean. I like to think that you will find your way back. Sorry for the little hiatus, the summer gods have not been good to me. If I was modest, I wouldn't bore you with the details but I am not feeling very modest and after all this is the naïve diary where else will you hear such boring stories. Like you all know, the summer I had in mind or planned to have was meant to be epic, remember that post about not been predictable and doing all the things I always wanted to do, well that did not happen. Now being my friends, you make ask why? The answer my dear friends is man proposes, God disposes!
First off, I was or I am still extremely broke since it is an ongoing predicament and no one has larger dreams than a broke girl. I have never been this broke in my life, I know it is crucial and even a rite of passage for people my age to experience "brokenness" but I have always been very frugal. You might think I am a spoilt child whose parents reduced her pocket money but far from it, the words manage and it is not a priority were used frequently in my household that I am quite proficient at living within any means I find myself. Apart from my dire state of being penniless or should I say 'centless,' (insert ROTFL face and annoying face, I know it is a dry joke but it is #dryjokeswednesday and I could not resist) I took one of the toughest class I have ever taken. Apart from the complexity of the class, life tested me and so made me the class a tad more difficult for me. I am proud to say God put me through it all, both the class and my life tests, but He is still working on my financial state. Enough about my sad and depressing tales, we all have problems and we do our best to keep moving.
It would gladden you to know a few interesting things did happen to me during these tough times; I got to go to the most buzzed about concert of the year, the On the Run Tour and yes, I could see Bey and Jay from my seat. You might then say to yourself, "if you are so broke Seunla how did you afford the tickets?" My response will be 1) mind your business 2) they were bought a long time ago and they were cheap seats! The show was quite splendid and after the first five minutes I understood why they are called the "King and Queen." Bruno Mars also came to town and he made me swoon and wish the goddess of relationships was in my favor, oh well if wishes were horses right. If wishes were horses... what would happen? I never got that adage. Anyways, did I tell you that Afam followed me on bloglovin, I didn't have time to freak out but I am letting you know so you can also do the same. Till I come your way next time, which will be pretty soon, I bid you adios!
Kisses and hugs always,
Seunla
