First of all, I would like to say it is with a heavy heart I write this; Christina Yang is leaving Greys Anatomy! You see, I always considered myself a version of Christina except of course nicer and less sarcastic. Back to reality, not too long ago the African Student Association (ASA) of my university had an event titled
Kings and Queens of the Nile. Now as a blogger with a cool camera, I decided to cover the event for your personal entertainment, you are very welcome. As expected, which is quite unfortunate, the event started a bit late but it was a forgivable 20 minutes. Personally, I didn't like the title of the show but that is my opinion and I am entitled to one but all in all it was a good show.
The show was definitely far better than last year's and it was quite obvious the organizers put a lot of work into it, the only problem, it was a bit disorganized leaving the audience either confused or bored. The dances were extremely entertaining, the models fierce and the skits were interesting. As a fervent supporter of young people being innovative and taking action, I really enjoyed the display by Manny designs which included loafers and shirts in Africa print; the handiwork was spectacular. The hosts were funny but at times they had no idea which act was next which really confused the crowd. As you all know it is hard taking pictures with heels and at the same time looking cute doing it, I did it all because of you! Enjoy!

Take it away boys!
I think I have more pictures of myself than I have of the show, oh well!

It was a fun night and there was
Taste of Africa the next day, though we waited for 2 hours for the food to arrive it was worth it. This has been a long post but hopefully you didn't notice. Please keep the Chibok girls in your prayers and as always remain awesome!
Forever yours,
Seunla
